I attend a number of NFRS shows during the year, mostly those in the South of England;  I try to attend as many of the monthly shows at Enfield (held by the LMRSC) as I can as well.

If planning to show your rats, you will need to hire or purchase a show tank (contact the show secretary to arrange this) and provide suitable substrate for the tanks. You also need to be certain that your rats are fit and happy with no health problems; you should also ensure that they have not been exposed to any infections or potential infections (i.e. rats from an unknown source) in the last 2-4 weeks. The judge cannot take it on faith that the rat is well - they must look perfectly healthy or they will be disqualified.
